40 Hotties Over 40: #8 Lesley Ann Warren (Age: 61)
This foxy woman has looked almost exactly the same for the last thirty years… and it’s been good the whole time.
My love for her in the movie Clue is somewhat unnatural, though, now that I think about it, my intense love for the movie itself may be slightly unnatural.
I heard a rumor that my BFF Pam has a strong dislike of Lesley Ann Warren. I do not understand this emotion in connection with the person above. It seems incorrect. After all, she’s in the top ten!
Oh yeah, and this cracks me the eff up.
Yeeck! She might be somewhat okay if she stopped playing ditsy drunks in EVERY role lately. Very hard to see past that to anything of substance.
*Sniff*
On her behalf, the roles for women in Hollywood are severely lacking. Roles for women her age are pretty much non-existent.
I still love her.
I can see why some folks don’t respond to her because she -or at least many of the characters she plays- tend to be a little whiney and flakey.
I watched her on TV in “In Plain Sight” in 2008 and last week I saw a small part of a movie she did in the late 70’s. The woman has not aged much in 30 years and what aging she has done may have improved things. Her body seems to have more character now. Maybe it was just the difference in the roles she was playing, but I swear she is hotter now than then.
Even just 15 years ago, I never would have thought it possible that I would be even mildly attracted to any woman over 60. Today, I can think of about half a dozen without really considering my attraction influenced that much by “their past glory”.
Lesley Ann Warren is an excellent example. I was never really familiar with her until recently. So, unlike one of Charlie’s Angels or Lynda Carter who’ve scarred me for life at a very early age, I approach her with a totally clean slate. She is attractive to me based purely upon what I see today. The idea of that still kind of blows me away.
Ten years from now, are there going to be hot 70 year olds running around? Suddenly, me getting older isn’t as bad as I once thought.
