I… but… huh… what?!
People are so confusing sometimes.
Books as fashion accessory is nothing new, really, but the idea of buying books for no purpose other than decor is a bit disturbing.
Now, I actually really do like the “Rainbow of Books” notion, whereby books are arranged on the shelves by color. Seems entirely non-user-friendly when you actually want to FIND a particular book, but it does look cool. 🙂

I get that, I am disturbed too. I stubbornly display all my books in my shelves, new ones, used ones, paperback mysteries and hardcover textbooks. So there. I’ve actually heard of people who wouldn’t put books into their living room because they think it doesn’t look orderly. Personally, I think a home without books is not one I could live in. Alright, ending my rant for the day now… 😉
