How to Open a Movie

While, yes, it is a flashback movie, and I generally find flashback movies a bit lazy, I just started watching Miracle at St. Anna and, damn, does that movie has a strong opening. Who’s with me? Anyone?

Also, Rosie is getting a new talk show. I almost feel bad for her. It seems kind of destined to fail. But I do hope, for her sake, I’m wrong. And I did have fun with her recent HBO “Celebration” A Family Is a Family Is a Family. A bunch of pretty colors. Kids and parents singing it up. Me pretending I’m not crying when the little boy asks the little girl if she can try to love him. Good times.
