Okay, so it’s not really a Charlie Brown Christmas tree. It’s not alive. Or scrawny. It would likely fall over if too heavy an ornament were placed atop it though, so they do have that in common. We don’t really decorate for the holidays, but Shawna made me this tree on Saturday, and I think he’s adorable. (Side note: All trees are hes. I’m not sure why. They just are. So are all dogs. And all flowers and cats are female. So stereotypes my brain.) And the whole thing was made using recycled materials. The tree itself is a wrapping paper tube and two Whole Foods bags. Keepin’ it green this Christmas… because we care. Notice the SpongeBob and the skull Christmas tree skirt.
And speaking of Christmas tree skirts -

I’m jealous. I’ve never had a Spongebob on my Christmas Tree before.
Anyway, Merry Christmas, Riley!

I don’t think it’s such a bad little tree, really.

Hey Riley – Just wanted to wish you a belated Merry Christmas and to say I love your tree. That’s the kind of tree I need! Takes up little space but still gets the job done!

Indeed, Tara, I did get your top 40 list. I’m sure I’ll get around to posting it eventually. But I’m slow. That’s just how it is.
SpongeBob on the Christmas tree is pretty awesome. I can see why you’d be jealous, but no need… really. Just don’t forget to SpongeBob up next year!
I’m saying, pprbkwrtr, it’s not a bad little tree at all.
Well go for it, Suz! Grab some paper grocery bags and have at it. It’s teeny and tiny and fun too!
And thanks all you all, peeps. Merry Christmas back at you… late! And Happy New Year… early!
