What the Hell Happened?

August 21st, 2009 by Riley

So, I just realized that the post I did last night had gone all wonky. I don’t know what happened, but I didn’t do it on purpose. It cut off about half of my post and disabled comments. And it did so all of its own accord. I think my computer is trying to tell me that I am long-winded and that nobody wants to hear it. So, last night’s post has now been posted correctly and comments are enabled, in case anyone wants to offer me any life advice or that kind of thing.

We just drove through a brief, but violent rainstorm. Wicked lightning strikes hitting the small mountains and plateaus all around us. It’s always a long drive, but damn I love driving out west. As we were entering the storm, there was a double-rainbow. One of them was more vivid than the other and it was a full arch, going all the way to the ground on both sides. The lighter one touched the ground on one side and almost made it to the ground on the other. They were directly over the interstate, so we actually drove right through the arch. I’m going to do this optimism thing and assume this is a good sign?
