This may sound silly, (hesitant sheepish look) but what is a ‘yardstick’, i’m not sure if it’s an american thing but the reference has come up a few times and it puzzles me. Hope you’re well. 🙂
You know in a previous post where you worried about having just one thought? Well, it would seem that I am just as bad as you if not worse. Cause now just seeing the word -yardstick- makes me go ‘there’. I may need an intervention.
Hey! So, apparently you had a birthday last weekend? Hope it was a great one! 🙂
Sorry May… Yes, yardstick is a fairly American reference. A yard is a unit of measure that’s a little bit shorter than a meter. Americans like to use it because apparently counting in units of ten is too simplistic and makes far too much sense for us 🙂
Thanks for the birthday wishes, Nikky. And hey, it’s okay that your mind goes there. There aren’t many better places for the mind to go.
