  1. You’re off to a good start, keep it up I believe in you. Like I believe one day L&C are going to do it in one of your remaining fic 😉

I make the same easy to keep resolution every year: not start smoking.

    Excellent Mickey, btw!

Wait. That sounds like you slipped me something.

    1. I’m going to try really hard. I don’t hold your level of confidence in my abilities to be timely though. Having waited many a time on my mom and sister to get somewhere, I am well aware of how much tardiness runs in my DNA.

Hopefully, those girls will get there time in the… um… happy place within the first quarter of the year.

See! Like that! That’s a resolution you can keep. I would hope.

I would just like to say that I would never slip any woman anything in order to take advantage of her. First off, it’s wrong. And secondly, I would be naive to think that even a heavy-duty drug could make her forget the experience.

  2. I would also like to proffer some virtual encouragement. I like it when you post, so more is good even if they’re short ones. And you’re right, forcing yourself to write two negatives for every positive is just about the perfect example of one step forward, two steps back, innit? I for one would like to be more positive this year. It’s a Presidential election year, after all, we need positive.

Also: do you watch Sherlock on the BBC? Seems like something you’d bloody well enjoy, as my inner Brit might say.

    1. Thank you 🙂 I am certainly going to make the effort. And, yes, more optimism is certainly in order. Looking at the dark side of things just isn’t workin’ out for me.

I don’t actually watch Sherlock, but since you introduced us to Wallace & Gromit, I am certainly willing to give it a try.

  3. Sherlock isn’t a huge investment of time–the first series last year was just three 90-minute episodes, as is the second (which premiered in the UK last week but doesn’t hit PBS in the States until May, so I’d download it if you can). Very nicely written, though–Steven Moffat is a genius–and the gents playing Holmes and Watson are quite good. Give the first episode a shot, see what you think.
