Insatiable

Insatiable

Hunger untamed

Need for touch, reckless and true

Try to permeate the void for you

When late at night, you call my name

Out of bed, calmly sneaking

Dark of moonlight covering

Inching toward sweet Nirvana

Others sleeping

Floorboards creaking

Two uniting someplace sacred

Middle point, worn and known

Smiles, Kisses, fingers on lips

Quieting in moonlight silver

Casting us in dream’s shadows

Hand pulling me to a place familiar

Eyes observing with great interest

Lying back on makeshift Cloud Nine

Room quivers, anticipatory shivers

You offer what I can’t resist

Fingers tangle, mouths come crashing

Warm tongues clashing, a wait too long

Wishing there were more night hours

More surrender, dueling powers

Time so right, it feels so wrong

Immersed in you, clothing removed

Need for connection wholly unreal

Granting to you all my pleasure

Both sighs and laughter

You moan, I feel

Screaming, crying, sharp nails biting

Greedy for more, begging, wanting

I face up to the tasks so daunting

You’re always left unsatisfied

The challenge given me, exciting

Wondering internally

Do I emit inherent truth

Behind the mask I wear of lust

My soul, it trips, restraint, it slips

I give my surrender to you

Dishonesty surrounding me

A devotion that I will not tell

The secret safe, kept hidden well

I provide you all, but sincerity

That’s locked in me, my private Hell

Fingers gripping, holding fast

Eyes fill with needy pleading

No control over my soul

Sensing your spirit that is bleeding

Respond with truth to what you ask

Saccharine words sneak through the air

Sheer release in fleeting weakness

Unsure they’re what you want to hear

I grasp at vacant atmosphere

Come up with only empty sweetness

Silence, no longer comfortable

Pervades our Elysium unbidden

I curse the words I couldn’t hold

Let shy and fearful vanquish bold

Keep my eyes downcast and hidden

Whimper that sounds like a smile

To risk a glance, choice debated

Surprised to meet eyes always wild

Suddenly completely sated

Famine finally abated
