And They Mean Natural

January 20th, 2010 by Riley

Tom’s of Maine toothpaste is the king toothpaste of my bathroom. Despite the fact that the tube is a little hard to empty and likes to crack open and get toothpaste all about my fingers while I am trying to brush, it leaves my teeth feeling slickery-clean and minty fresh without a bunch of chemicals and other crap that has no place being in either my toothpaste or my mouth.

Their deodorant, however, I’m a little iffy on. It is all natural and stuff and it seems to work okay, but the aroma is questionable. When wearing it, it kind of smells like you’ve bathed in something that falls somewhere between patchouli and cannabis on the natural substance scale.

I agree with what you said about their deodorant, though I don’t know that it even worked all that well for me. I tried it for about a week and was NOT happy with it – especially the scent! I think the scent was supposed to be apricot or something like that on the one I tried.
