All my favorite books read well aloud. I like sentences that find their own distinctive rhythms, while maintaining the cadence of the stories in which they are written. I despise long blocks of back-and-forth dialogue with no references as to who is speaking. I actually like adverbs. Most of the time. I appreciate writing that…
So, Tuesday night I got to see Wendy Crewson in Love, Loss and What I Wore. Which was oh so wonderful for me. But it wasn’t just Wendy. Indeed, the entire cast was a treat. And Margot Kidder… just too cool. Great script, great performance, and most fantabulous after-performance. First thing to note, and so…

HA! That’s why it was funny that I asked.
I’ve been seriously wanting you to try some Otalia writing.
ZOMG! I totally fell for this couple last week!
I have been watching youtube clips like crazy and have a spread sheet with links to every Otalia clip from october 2008 to today! Let me know if you want it for your site…. it is pretty OCD but I have dragged 3 more people into Otalia worship with it!
Yes, indeedy, Tara… this is why it was funny that you mentioned that. I’m sorry to say that I don’t see me doing any Otalia writing any time soon. I never wrote fic before Lindsay/Cindy and I probably won’t be that inspired again. For the most part, I prefer to work on my own stuff. Not to mention, I really trust the Otalia storyline in the hands of the people who are writing it. They have had quite a dance with very few missteps and I am more excited to see what they are going to do next than to write it myself.
Oh man… I love the spreadsheet. It totally is OCD though. Thanks for the offer. I’m pretty sure that I’ve seen all of the clips since October though.
