Oh yeah… and another thing.

The biggest reason that I am in Omaha right now is because I’d heard and read so many great things about the Henry Doorly Zoo. It makes like every top ten zoo list, and is supposed to have the ‘best of’ several different exhibits. Basically, it’s supposed to kick the ass of most zoos across the country.

Surprise!

Okay, so it’s not like it’s a bad zoo. It was entertaining enough. There are lots of cool animals set up in fairly interesting exhibits. The problem is, it’s just not everything it was made out to be. I had high expectations, and then I was like, ‘really, this is it?’

I experienced the same exact sensation when I was at the San Diego Zoo. You know, the zoo that is supposed to be the number one zoo in the country? They actually remind me a lot of each other, and neither of them were as impressive as they were supposed to be.

Columbus Zoo, congratulations, you still top my zoo list.

And Travel Channel, would you please stop misleading me?
