And now to begin two weeks of absurdly nomadic behavior…
So, we didn’t fit all of our earthly possessions into a Toyota Corolla. Instead, due to the ridiculously high gas prices, we were able to trade in the Corolla (which was soon to be in desperate need of serious transmission work) for a Chevy Trailblazer (not my fave car, but whatcha gonna do?). Same year, less miles, lower monthly payment, cheaper insurance. So, it may cost a little more to fill up the tank, but it will even out in the end… I think.
Anyway, now that we are actually on the road, at the beginning of our over two-week road trip, you might start to wonder about me. You might think -
“Hey, I know that Riley is homeless right now, traveling cross country in the most roundabout possible way. She doesn’t actually have an apartment to move into until September 1st. So I wonder… Where’s Riley?”
Well, wonder no more.
In recent discussions of our move, it was brought to our attention that we should be tagged, you know like packages, so that people can keep track of us.

Very cool. The only thing missing is a graphic of a US map with a miniature Trailblazer moving across it that we could fallow. But I know that CGI is probably not a priority.
You have other things to do like…

On the Cinderella front, I finished it. It was very, very good. I loved it. I loved her. And I agree it would make terrific movie. Maybe it’s because of your Hotties list but I could totally picture Wendy Crewson as Queen Ino and for some reason the mirror sounded like Jeremy Irons in my head. And don’t you think little kiddies would love to have a Togo or Norco with their Happy Meals? Maybe after you make it big in Hollywood, I’ll happen.
