Foiled By My Kickass New Theme

June 9th, 2008 by Riley

So this happened.

I got me a new theme, and then everything started going mad crazy.

Okay, not everything, but the comments did. Almost everybody got relegated to the spam folder and I spent the whole weekend feeling unloved. Then I realized what was happening and I felt better about the whole thing.

Except for the fact that this theme is being a total bitch, but I really like it and I don’t want to have to let it go, so I’m going to have to work around its serious malfunctions.

Speaking of malfunctions…

There is this interstate exchange in Tennessee right as you are entering Nashville proper that I heard referred to by the loving nickname Malfunction Junction. It seriously deserved the title.

Anyway, please leave me comments. I will make sure you don’t get categorized as a canned meat-like substance.

yeah, we’ve all been talking about how rude you’ve been lately.

ok, not really. but i do have a request/suggestion/you-don’t-have-to-listen-to-anything-i-say concerning the new theme. now, don’t take this the wrong way, riley. you know how much i respect your creativitiy. i’m just kinda wondering about the bright green on the headings. that’s all i’m sayin’.

…. and i heart you. please don’t be mad at me.

OMG, Tara! Seriously? I like LOVE the green.

And I’m not mad. I’m going to totally disregard your suggestion, but I’m not mad.

really? i mean, it doesn’t throw you back to the neon colors of the 90’s? all the pinks and greens and oranges? the 90’s? maybe it’s because i didn’t have a good high school experience.

I just like the green. I can see where you get the 90’s association though. And, believe you me, I didn’t have a good high school experience either. In fact, I’ve blocked out as much of it as I can. It was that good.

And humblest thanks, halfpint. No need for corrections though… there are no grammar nazis on this blog. I don’t think. And if there are, they are keeping well-hidden.
