So, here is my most random thought of the day, though, in all actuality, it is potentially my most random thought ever. So, which was it? Which came first? Menstruation or the month? Of course, the answer is obvious. The modern calendar is a relatively new invention when compared to the beginnings of human life on Earth (In theory. I wasn’t there people.). Women, though, have been spitting out kids from the get-go. So, if menstruation came well before the month, and the month is based on the lunar cycle, what gives? Is woman some sort of alien life form from the moon? Or did the men who invented the calendar base it partly on keeping track of when they could plunder their harems without spawning hundreds of little tyrants?
